We accept original works that are copyrighted either by the Writers Guild of America or the Library of Congress, submitted by the copyright holder.

Submitter must have authority to submit project either as Writer or Producer. Co-Writers should have permission of fellow writers.

Digital formats only. We do not accept hard copy paper submissions without prior approval.

Submissions may be updated if approved by the Director of the Bare Bones Script-2-Screen Festival & Awards Coordinator.

Generally accepted formats for screenplays, stageplays, teleplays should be adhered to.

Production budgets are considered estimates by number of locations, scenes, characters, costumes, effects, etc and is not deemed to be absolute in regards to the entry categories.

	BARE BONES SCRIPT2SCREEN WRITING AWARDS For 9 years, we operated as a Script-focused Film Festival in Tulsa, OK. Also called SCRIPT-2-SCREEN. Due to scheduling changes at main venue, it combined back to the Original Bare Bones International Independent Film & Music Festival in Muskogee, OK-Now,once again it will operate as a stand alone entity, with online competition and videotaped readings. Our new focus is to bring talented screenwriters together with Independent Filmmakers and Actors to take their project from Script-2-Screen. Shoot in Oklahoma-Greenlight Project is now in development for short script/TV Pilot production. With a full schedule of movie screenings; live screenplay readings and workshops often get the shorter end of the film festival experience. After much brainstorming, we decided that in order to reach a wider range of script and screenwriters and to provide the needed education, encouragement and opportunity for production, this Script-2-Screen Festival & Awards was re-activated. OTHER SCRIPT READERS are selected from festival Alumni, Movie Enthusiasts and the Film making community. Requires adherence to strict confidentiality and non-compete agreements. Bare Bones Filmmaking-"No Frills-No Waste"! By Any Means Necessary-BAMN! Screenwriting Awards will run on a quarterly basis: (Winter, Spring, Summer & Fall), providing the type of recognition that can lead to acquiring a literary agent, a producer, or getting a Filmmaker interested for possible production. Our Script readers are experienced in Independent Film Production and will offer their expertise to the writer in terms of feasibility to be shot on a "Bare Bones" (Alt: Indiewood or Hollywood) budget, what may be considered as assets or as negatives as it relates to the script. Select scripts will be offered the opportunity to submit a videotaped screenplay reading (10-20 minutes preferred) to enhance marketing efforts to move the project forward. Much like a movie promotional trailer. Also as an option, Screenwriters may submit a short (3-5 minute) Video-PITCH to potential producers. Honorable Mention Screenplays that are in need of further development, will be given recommendations to consider.
