YES, THE MEDICAL MARIJUANA DISPENSERIES ARE LOCATED THROUGHOUT THE CITY AND STATE. You will need to have an OK MJ license to purchase. Luckily, we have a MJ coordinator/volunteer who can help answer any questions you may have.

YES, RESTAURANT CONNECTED BARS DO SERVE ALCOHOL ON SUNDAYS.

WHY ARE THERE NO MOVIE SCREENINGS ON SUNDAY?

If you are interested in attending a local congregation's Sunday CHURCH services, we do have several Volunteers who can share specifics with you.

We have scheduled our Bare Bones Awards Ceremony on Sunday, MAY 5 (CINCO DE MAYO THEMES thru out festival) RED CARPET DRESSED UP PHOTOS/interviews will start after 1 PM and will be LIVE STREAMED On 2 platforms. AWARDS SHOW/CEREMONY will begin at 2pm.

WHAT ELSE IS THERE TO DO ON SUNDAY, MAY 5th?
THE AFTER AWARDS PARTY WILL BE HELD AT THE HOME OF FEST VOLUNTEERS-GREG & CAROLYN HARMON with libations and foods & music in the spirit of CINCO DE MAYO. Bring your favorite adult drink to compliment the offerings. CELEBRATE!

The 28th Renaissance Faire at the Castle of Muskogee 10:00 am-6:00pm

SOME OF US WILL CARAVAN (GPS RENTIESVILLE) AFTER THE AFTERPARTY FUN TO:
The Down Home Blues Club (Last authentic Juke Joint in Oklahoma) has an Open Blues Jam starting at 6:00 pm (Rentiesville is about 25 miles south of Muskogee) A caravan will go and return for those who need a ride or for easy directions. Home of the OK Blues Hall of Fame, across the road from the historic Honey Springs Civil War Battlefield.

QUESTION: WHAT IS THE WEATHER LIKE IN MUSKOGEE, OKLAHOMA?

ANSWER: OK weather is subject to change at any moment, so bring a jacket. Check with the weather bureau onwww.cityofmuskogee.org

QUESTION: DO TORNADOS REALLY STIKE WITHOUT WARNING?

ANSWER: Usually, there are notices of an impending tornado that leaves plenty of time to take cover.

QUESTION: WHAT ARE THE LIQUOR LAWS IN OK?

ANSWER: Legal beer dinking age is 21. Liquor stores close at 12:00 midnight* weekdays and are closed on Sundays. Duh, at least that's what I think.

QUESTION: WHAT ARE THE SMOKING LAWS IN OK?

ANSWER: Age 18 to purchase cigarettes. Smoking is banned in Public places except Restaurants that have separate ventilation and separate rooms. Smoking is allowed in SOME bars.

QUESTION: WHAT TIME DO THE CLUBS CLOSE IN MUSKOGEE?

ANSWER: Most will close at 2:00 am with last call around 1:30am, same as most cities.

QUESTION: IS THERE CAB SERVICE FROM TULSA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT TO MUSKOGEE?

ANSWER:If you are an International traveler, contact festival directly for assistance

However, you can rent a car and drive the 45 minutes on the Broken Arrow Expressway to Muskogee. Notice I didn't say FREEway. It costs $2.00 each way.

You can also check to see if other festival attendees will be arriving around the same time as you, then buddy up for a car pool. Don't forget your driver's license, you can't rent a car without it.
