"Scott McEntire calls Arkansas home, but his home city is currently in flux. Scott first began working in film in the
summer of 1992 while earning a featured part on The Ernest Green Story (starring Morris Chestnut and directed by Eric Laneuville).
Prior to this, Scott's training had come as a theater actor starting in 1986. Following his work on Ernest Green, he did
commercial and training work, and eventually left for Warsaw, Poland, where he had a career in technology and pursued a baseball
career with the Polish First Division team, the Warsaw Centaurs.
After returning to the United States and his home state of Arkansas, Scott was introduced to the independent film scene
by co-writing and starring in the film, "Anyone", a Best Film festival award winner which screened in multiple southern
regional festivals. His first directing role was for a short film he also had written, "TwinkleTown", which screened
at multiple film festivals across the States. Scott has gone on to write 3 short films and 2 features, which have had successful
festival runs or are still in production. One of those features is "With You", where he served as writer, executive
producer, lead actor, assistant editor, and co-director, and which is an official selection of the 2017 Bare Bones Film Festival.
Scott assists with the organizing committee in a growing role for the Royal Film Festival in Benton, AR. He has just
wrapped principal photography for the feature film, "The Boo", whose script was nominated at the 2016 Bare Bones
Festival for Best Horror Feature Script. Scott is serving as writer, director, actor, assistant editor, and executive producer
of the film. Scott owns and operates Clever Alibi Productions out of central Arkansas with his business partner, Clayton
