Judy started working in the entertainment industry in the late 70s. Working her way from casting assistant to being hired
as an agent by a top children's agency Kelman/Arletta Agency, in the 80s.
After 2 years as the commercial agent there she returned to casting with her own company, Belshe Casting.
She has worked on several award winning projects and with award winning Directors over the years. She's had the privilege
of casting for project such as: Boys and Girls Town PSAs, Will Rogers Institute PSAs, McGruff the Crime Dog series, How the
West Was Lost (Cable Ace Award), Knotts Berry Farm, Oroweat, Disney educational projects and 100s more.
She has cast hundreds of educational films, Industrials and Infomercials. To name a very few: "Homes of our Heritage
for HGTV / 8 part series, "The Homes of Frank Lloyd Wright" In Search of the Oregon Trail for PBS Nebraska/Hosted
by Stacy Keach. How The West Was Lost - Part I & II "Cable Ace Award". Scared Silent / Oprah Winfrey Productions.
She also cast several educational projects for Disney.
Some of the feature films she has cast are: The Message. A Cowgirls Story, Audacity, Attack of the Killer Donuts, Legend
of Spirit Dog, Wheels on the Bus, A Norman Rockwell Christmas, Prey of the Chameleon, Midnight Fear, The Judas Project, and
many more viewable on IMDB.com.
In 2007 she founded the agency "All American Rascals Talent Agency" with her husband. Their clients can be seen
in multiple films, and commercials.
In 2013 she stepped down as an agent to produce her screenplay Miracle in the Valley, starring Pat Boone, Diane Ladd,
Ed Asner, Shari Rigby, Richard Tyson and some of the best character actors in Hollywood. The film has won over 50 awards at
home and internationally.
She is a multi-award winning writer.
Her first award was an Irwin Award for her book "It's A Freeway Out There! Everyone's Guide to the Film and Commercial
Industry. The book was later revised to Hollywood: What's in it for me? Now off the market.
She wrote the award winning films: Letters from the Heart (Writer) and Miracle in the Valley (Exec. Producer, Writer,
Casting Director). Both films are currently on several streaming sites like, PureFlix, Amazon Prime, Tubi, YouTube and more.
She has garnered several awards for her screenplays. To name a few: Chocolaphobia, Jeremiah, Boonville Redemption, The
12 Diaz of Christmas, The Forgiveness Dance. She has also received A Dove Award and SPIFF award for her screenplay "Boonville
Redemption. The film was later named Miracle in the Valley. The film has won todate over 50 awards.
She was also awarded the Dove Foundation Award for her film Boonville Redemption aka Miracle in the Valley, and her books,
#1 Boonville Redemption: The End of the Beginning, and the Christian Book Award (CBA)
